DAILY OPERATING BLOG

FALL IS UPON US!

We have officially passed the peak of the Atlantic Basin Hurricane season. Fall started just two days ago, and ohhh you can tell. Our weather here in Palm Beach County has dropped the daily highs a good 10 degrees. It has been absolutely perfect outside. After the last two months of storms passing through, strong winds, and extremely rough seas, we are back to what we love. Parasailing!! Take advantage of the calm seas and light winds while they are here. There are a lot of exciting things happening in Boynton Beach this season. This Sunday, September 29th will be the second annual Rock The Boat event at Banana Boat Boynton Beach. It is a benefit concert with live music (Reggae), great food, and some amazing raffle give aways. It’s all going to a great cause. Cant wait to see…

HURRICANE DORIAN

Hurricane Dorian is marching its way across the Atlantic Ocean and gaining strength along the way. It is currently West of the Bahamas and a category 3 storm. The forecast is for it to become a cat 4 storm possibly making landfall on the east coast of Florida sometime Monday night to Tuesday morning. At the moment, Palm Beach County is in the forecast cone and bracing for landfall. In preparation, we have pulled our parasailing boat “Bucket List” out onto the trailer. This time of year in Florida deals with extremely high tides called “King Tides”. These tides, plus the possible storm surge and heavy amounts of rainfall could be a disaster for a boat. We at Boynton Beach Parasail think its best to halt all operations and move the boat to higher ground near my home in Wellington,…

DEVOTED FOLLOWER

Today we had a very special passenger come out flying high with us. One of our very first, and very supportive social media followers decided it was finally her time to get high with Boynton Beach Parasailing. Sallie Colas joined us with her son Ben and had an absolute blast. We traveled north outside of…

FUN BEFORE THE STORMS!

What a perfect morning to come out flying with us! The weather was absolutely perfect and it wasn’t going to stay that way all day. The local forecast called for heavy storms approaching the areas by mid afternoon. We decided to fly the Lake Worth area today. As we approached the Pier, we had the pleasure of seeing two small spinner sharks putting on a show. They breached the waters surface spinning high in the air! What a great way to start the trip. While airborne the guest also saw a few turtles playing in the waters below. As we finished up our trip, you can see the storms were building to the West. By the time we had reached the docks, the sky was getting darker and we have decided to call it a day. Better safe, then sorry!!…

TURTLE LOVE

What a perfect day on the water today! We had a few trips head out today with great people. Folks from all over the United States like Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Georgia to name a few. Our first run of the day, we traveled south to Delray Beach, Florida to do some nice advertising along the beach. We had a great family on board with a few younger children. Luckily I spotted a large shell from a good distance away. As I made my way towards it, I had all the guest ready to get a close up view. As we got closer, I noticed the one shell was actually two turtle shells. The next few minutes were us explaining what those turtles were doing, LOL!! Amazing day with light South East winds and a flat clam ocean. The rest of…

SUMMER IS HERE!

Our summer here in South Florida has already begun. Here’s Captain Davids two little girls flying high above Delray Beach with mate Tristano. What a great way to start off the summer break! While high above the Atlantic they spotted two sea turtles playing in the warm waters below. Come see for yourself…
